Go sit in a leather office chair and tell me one of those chairs made for a pop up is better. I doubt it. I bought these chairs for $39 and have seen them on sale for $49 at Staples, Office Max or Office Depot.

Go to office depot and buy a cheap office chair. I have a one in my box blind that has lasted for going on three seaons and it is comfy. I also have the same chair in my popup, but take it home and put it in the garage in the off season. Every chair i have tried from academy and cabelas is uncomfortable and noisy when you need to adjust to shoot, the office chairs all swivel and with a little extra elbow grease no noise at all!

I got one of these a couple of weeks ago at gander and used it for the first time this past weekend. Really comfortable and oversized. Doesn't squeak. The back is high and your head can rest against the back, I can't fall asleep in the blind so that's not a prob. It also reclines.
I've used countless blind chairs and lawn chairs and they are either uncomfortable or noisy. I used one of these chairs from academy last year and it was ok but got noisy after being in the elements. I would recommend the gander chair.

I believe it was "Lip" that first made these and posted them up back when the pop up blinds first came out. A bunch of us made them back then. Snakelover has a post in the DIY section on the ones he was making. LINK
They are very stable and comfortable.Last edited by Cotton; 10-03-2012, 10:37 PM.

I bought one at Academy last week. It is sort of similar to a director's chair, only much smaller, metal framed and has a storage pouch underneath the seat. It does have two arm rests, but I consider them useless because they are so low, but on the up side, they don't get in my way when shooting. It was confortable enough last weekend that I sat in the blind for right at 6 hours, on Saturday morning, and I'm normally a 3 or 4 hour guy, heading back to camp around 9 or 10 am. Kaitlin also bought one this week, since she plans to sit with me this coming weekend. Only difference is hers came from the camping section, not the hunting section, her is black instead of camo, and dawgawnit....hers has a stinkin' TABLE on the side with a cupholder and room enough to put your binos, rangefinder, etc!
