We have ten stands and over the years they have earned there nickname the old fashioned way..just give it time and they will come to you. One of our stands earned the name dead horse cause one of the hunters came back to camp and explained that a horse had died 60 yards from the stand now #3 is the deadhorse. Oh and we don't own horses it had been dumped

I only have one this year. I call it double trouble, because I have a tree stand on one side of the feeder and a box blind on the other.

Last year my two stands were called Skyscraper and Graveyard

We've also used: Corner store, The meadow, Arrowhead

Can't remember any more right now.

Not all these are on the same place. But I have hunted them or helped set them up over the years. These are the best I can recall.

Pot Rock (has weeds growing out of a cliff face every year)

                      Shankrila (great bow blind)

Circle Back (two trails begin on one side and end on the other and makes a circle)

Deer Bowl (looks like a football stadium)

Catcher Mitt (a clump of trees between a water whole a food plot. Great transition area)

Dozier Island (tractor got stuck one year and we had to leave it for 3 months before it got dry enough to dig it out)

                      Swamp ***** (nasty but productive)

Rim Job (blind sits up on a canyon wall over looking two feeders bow or gun blind)

Lazyboy (has a old couch near it)

Hangin Stand (tree stand that sits out pretty far away from the main tree)

Fluffinutter (idk no one knows how it got the name)

Philips 66 (blind is built with Texaco billboard and someone slapped a Philips 66 bumper sticker on it)

                      Stump Broke (yea it's funny)

Golden Triangle (three trails come into the feeder)

Lonesome Glove (when we were setting it up we found a single brown cotton glove)

                        The Highway Blind
                        The Cactus Blind
                        Rockytop
                        Monster
                        Big O
                        Valley
                        Rock Bottom
                        Safari
                        Pipeline

I like blinds having names instead of numbers. It usually takes a while to name them, but it comes.

When I read the Big O it reminded me of one evening I was out by the shop and heard what I thought was somebody yelling. Come to find out it was one of my hunters scream "Oh Yea" after 12 ringing a hog. It was funny because he was about 900 yards away. So the Big O fits pretty good.
