SD Card Question

Anybody else having SD card issues. I keep getting a message that they need to be formatted - which erases all of the images. Could it be that i am switching them between two different type cameras.

I have a variety of cameras and have dedicated SD cards for each cam. This may be your issue...

What make and model of camera? Have you tried downloading them to a computer? How are you viewing the pictures and can you still view what's on them? Just wondewring if they have been corrupted. may be a problem with the camera itself. And yes, sharing a memory card amonst different cameras can cause issues.

I have cuddebacks and primos truth cams.

I have dedicated sd cards for each to avoid formatting issues. Take a sharpe and mark which type camera the sd's belong to.

Those are the two brands I'm using as well. Thanks guys, time to get out the Sharpie.

that's almost certainly your issue.

I started keeping the same cards in the same cameras, regardless of brand just to make sure there are no differences since they sometimes get software updates.

I have had issues even with the same brand cameras. I always pull my cards......copy the pics to my laptop and then when I put the card back in the camera I format it. Never get errors anymore.
