That's absurd that someone could even think of making this argument. Completely insane.

Looks like you found your answers. You can always count on the GS. Keep fighting for us fellow hunters. In the mean time I'll keep using my weapons, quivers and bows while having stewardship over the animals that God gave to us.

I just want to gain more insight and knowledge so that I can back up my belief that hunting is not a bad thing.
If you are a christian how do you defend this?
Real simple. Do they eat? Plants, beef, chicken? If they are that stupid tell em to go french kiss a white oak and to kiss your ***. I for one am sick and tired of trying to explain it to these morons. For years i did the carrying capacity of the land bit, stewardship of the land, God gave man dominion over animals. In their mind they are right and you are wrong. You cant fix stupid.

Thanks for all of the quick replies. I just did not know where at in the Bible it talked about hunting. I can now direct them to Genesis and see if they will argue with the bible!

In Acts 10 the Holy Spirit commanded Peter to "Arise, kill and eat" also in genesis God gave man dominion over animals.

                          God created plants too.

How do these people that want to argue with you justify killing plants to eat them?

More folks need to think along the same lines, laugh in their face!.. To a certain degree we are ignorant as well for giving fruit cakes like that a response to their stupidity.

Not only is it Christian, it is biblical... ^^^^^ What they said RE: the verses to quote... but my favorite is:

"There's a place for all God's creatures... right next to the potatoes and gravy."

I used to have a T-Shirt that said this, and would wear it to church regularly.

The bottom line is people will always rationalize their own emotion based reliefs, regardless of what proof you put before them... this includes Christians. I've been asked to leave churches before, because I follow what the bible says, rather than what the preacher tells me... Especially the Westboro Baptist types...
