    what kind...

... of lizard is this? There are tons of these lizards at our lease in Junction. Their are also some lizards that look like horny toads, but no horns and longer tails. Just wondering if anybody had a name for them.

I belive you are seeing Eastern Fence lizards.

The first one is a Spot-Tailed Earless lizard. I do not belive the 2nd one is a fence lizard. Only because the description says it has a blue throat patch surrounded by black. This lizard looks like it has a lateral line and a slight pink and maybe a small blue throat patch. Hard to tell from this pic and the angle, but it looks like a Texas Spiny. But don't hold me to that.

I'm 99% sure on the first one.

I'm pretty sure that Huntinfool is correct on both counts.

For comparison, the one I'm holding here is a Texas Spiny (female) for SURE...

One thing that might help is the average size. If you're mostly seeing small lizards, say less than 6", they're probably Fence lizards. If you're mostly seeing big lizards, say over 7", they're probably Texas Spiny lizards.
