My cooler a/c

I'm wondering if building an insert for the top of the cooler that basically has the 2 fans and a vent would work just as good as the fans being on the side. You could then use the cooler normally or just add the insert in the top for the AC. What say you smart fellers here on the GS?

Sweet set up. I think we will need those early this year I am afraid. I feel a burner of a summer coming on.

Just how quiet are they ? Sure could use one in my sweat box, but have been hesitant to do so because of the noise. Figured deer would hear it on a quiet morning or evening, humming.

Do you have temps of the air coming out versus the ambient air temp? Curious as to how much cooling effect it has just running over those ice jugs.

Depends on the fans you use.I used Noctua fans($20 each) that run at 18 or so decibels.They are quiet and will run forever on a 12v battery.I don't have as much airflow as some fans but they are alot quieter.It's a trade off.
