"Hoss" 8pt Shoulder Mount

I got my mount back from the 8pt I killed this year. This is the biggest buck I've ever killed, so he the new "King" of the wall of my 5 shoulder mounts.
Here are some pictures. Notice the size difference between him and the 11pt I killed in 2005. It's hard to believe they were killed out of the same tree on the same ranch. There is a huge difference in size!
I also included a few pictures of the 11pt, which is my 2nd biggest buck.

Did you have both the 8 & 11pts aged?

Was the 8pt, significantly older than the 11?

Have you done additional feeding program/protein recently to help account for the size difference (couple good years of rain).

Hypothetical Question (since they are both currently on your wall).
-If you had a moment of insanity and let the 11pt walk (2) years ago, which of these 2 bucks would you have been looking to draw on first, if they both walked up simultaniously the same afternoon this past season?
That 11 with (2) additional years on him, or the brute 8?!!!
