TPWD drawn hunts question

So I applied for hunts in each catagory and today I called the automated number to see if I had won any. For some reason I was disqualified for all the hunts I applied for except for the mule deer hunt. Can anyone think of why this is? How do I find out?

We're they late or applied with someone else on the same hunt Ina different application.

Also check to see if anyone else put you in on their apps.

Call them on Monday. Those folks have been real helpful.

The check was cashed by tpwd in mid august way before the deadline. The only names on my apps were me and my 12yo son. Ive asked my buddies if they put me on their ap and they all say no

I would call and talk to them, maybe they made a mistake. I know it would be too late for the draw, but if it's their mistake maybe you could at least get the preference points.

If someone else put you in on their application, they would have had to know your social security number to fill out an application. I would call TPW and ask why you were disqualified just for peace of mind. Sorry for your bad luck.

Not to be a smart ***.. but you know it is 3.00... per app and not total

again, just trying to turn over all the rocks.

bout the only way to be DQ'd is money and duplicate apps...

The check was for $35... Someone brought up the point that I listed my 12yo as a hunter on the regular hunts. Could that be the problem? I understood I could take him with me. If not I dont want to go anyway...

This is why you were DQ'd. You didn't pay the correct amount.
7 hunts x 2 people x $3 = $42 not $35.

Same thing happened to us on the hunts we put in for. I called and they said that some the ages weren't filled in on the cards so they threw them out. Luckily I called in time to correct it for the rifle hunts but we did get DQ'ed from all the archery hunts.

Under 17 you don't have to pay the app fee.

7 x $3 = $21
Either way $35 is wrong. Only multiple of 35 is 1 and 5 and 7.
