    Question For Knife Makers

I bought a really cool old Utica Superedge meat cleaver today at an estate sale, and the handle is shot on it. How much would it cost to put a new handle on it? It's not something I have to tools to do probably, so I'd most likely have to send it to someone to get it done. Not looking for something fancy, just a basic solid wood handle.

Pics? I think you would find it easier than you suspect. Epoxy, pins and some finish work.

I'm sure I could do it, but I don't have anywhere to do it really. These college apartments don't come with shops. How I wish they did....

If you want to come here to my shop and make the handle, you are more than welcome. I have grinders, sanders and cutters of all types, drill presses and saws. I even have a bunch of micarta and rucarta if you preferr that for the handle.

Shop is on FM 3405 out west of lake Georgetown.
