I recently had winner's choice string and cables installed on my 06 tomkat. When they reinstalled my drop zone, the cord attached to the bus cable pops up on the arrow side and seems like it would maybe make contact. Is the arrow gone before the cord pops up? When the cord popped up before, I believe that it came up on the other side of the cableslide. Has anyone had this problem before?

If it is served in place you are stuck with it the way it is unless you want to
1. Redo the serving after putting a counter twist in the rest or
2. Unbolt the rest and rotate it one revolution enough to put the twist in the string that will keep it out of the way. Mark where the rest is located on the riser (trace a pencil line along the top/bottom & front), unbolt, rotate and re-bolt. Make sure to let off on the set screw before removal and put some tension back on it once complete.
If the cord is just tied into the down cable you can press the bow, get slack in the down cable, remove the cord & put a twist in it and then tighten the cable back up by pressing the bow back to normal.
One way or another in order to fix what you perceive is a problem you'll need to have the cord pre-twisted to where it falls straight down or to the right when the bow is at rest.
Has this ever interfered with the arrow during the shot? Not sure, but if it looks like it will it might create doubt when troubleshooting.
I’d do the unbolt and rotate trick myself- if it is served in that is- I don’t serve mine.
