Live hunt, sort of

Made it to the lease, sitting in a rifle blind doing some reconnaissance work for our rifle hunters. Sure is nice to breathe country air and watch animals instead of cars! Really wanted to sit in one of my bow blinds but decided to let them sit until Saturday. 30 minutes until the dinner bell spins.

Beautiful evening to be out but HOT. Lots of does and spotted fawns and one respectable eight. Bout to head back for a mess of carne guisada. Be safe on the roads out there tomorrow.
