Browning X Bolt

I am thinking of buying one of Brownings new X Bolt rifles in a 270 WSM, 7 Mag, or a 300. The X Bolt is suppossed to be an improvement over the A bolt. Does anyone have any experience or info on this new gun?

i had a gun dealer try to sell me one when i was looking for an ablot... i wanna know more about it also. they 300 win mag with a boss.

They do not have them with the BOSS yet.

I ordered mine last week. 300 win Mag Medallion. I'm putting a VX-3 6.5x20 w/ 30 mm tube and sunshade. It's a bad mofo! IMO the best looking new gun to come out this year. The price is just a bit higher than the ABOLT.

It has a new recoil system as well as a new adjustable trigger. 3-5 pounds.

Yeah, I like the 300 too - but that 270 WSM is putting up some sweet numbers. Just can't decide.

I stopped in at BASS PRO today in Katy. They told me to expect them out in the stores the 2nd or 3rd week in march.

I guess I am old school but I like the looks of the A Bolt better...just bought one in 300 win mag as a matter of fact. I think I got a good deal thanks to the X Bolt. Feel free to give me a hard time. I did the same thing last year with a Benelli SBE. My friends couldn't believe I didn't want the new and improved SBE 2 but oh well. I am just glad they make a bunch of different models...give us some choices!
