I'm on year 6 or 7 with the original rain gear and it's help up very well for the abuse Iv'e put it through. Predator makes some quality gear and I'm sure this set should be great. Any chance you have specs on what they each weigh? I'd be more prone to getting into a new set if they were lightweight for western backpack trips.
