Yeah I have seen it. Kinda like people wishing they had pigs like we do. It is nice to go hunt the exotics on other folks place tho.

Would rather have Axis than whitetail any day. Taste better, prettier animal, can hunt year round. What's not to like?

Mastro, I listened to the calls that you sent me and I wonder how well they will work. The bellowing of the axis seem to be way off in the background and there are birds chirping in the foreground. I increased the volume to where I could use it for a call but the birds are really loud now and don't sound natural. If the sounds could be separated then I think will could be on to something. That could possibly be done by a sound mixer but I am not sure. I am still going to give them a try and see what happens.

They dont belong on native range competing with native animals. That whats not to like. Just a spotted hog. And they are pretty till you kill some just like a black buck then they all look the same. And nothing is prettier than a big whitetail.

There are plenty high fence places where they belong that you can hunt em year round. Have at it and kill my share. Cuz you can bet any exotic i find free ranging aint gonna get no pass.

Nope, never been so lucky. If i had I would never shoot another whitetail. Axis is so much better.

John Wooters was supposed to be workin on one. Dont know if he ever got it out. Its always fun to see the look on someones face when an axis buck lets loose and theyve never heard it before. Make ya think bigfoot is real for a second.

Your comment made me laugh because I had no experience with Axis back in 07 and I was hunting a pop up blind about fifty yards off of a neihbors high fence place so I could see the exotics later in the day but before the sun come up I heard an Axis call and it scared the crap out of me.
