Need a good slow cooker/crockpot

We have one, but it SUCKS. It cooks way too fast. Even on the lowest setting, everything cooks too fast. Roast always comes out over cooked and tough.

What brand/model is a good one?

I have a Hamilton Beach and it cooks great. It has a high, low, warm selector and it will simmer on high and not even simmer on low and warm is just that it will keep it warm. It also has a locking lid with a rubber gasket in the event you want to prepare something and then hit the road witih it. I believe it is a 8 Qt.
