We must ADAPT. I will change my strategies from going in to eat lunch, to eating lunch in the stand and being there all day. Going to be a long one. But, if it pays off it will be well worth the time spent.

It will make walking to the stand easier...

Check the weather. My area calls for cloudy with a chance of rain. Decent chance the clouds will obscure the moon.

Yup, clouds/rain hopefully will negate the effect of the full moon.

The "light of the moon" is not the reason for the change on activity over a quarter moon. You will find the same activity under a new moon as well. It is a function of solunar feeding times not light. Animals see just as well at night regardless of how much light the moon is or is not producing.

Why do you sit all day after a full moon? I dont know anything about moon patterns and deer activity

The theory is that the most deer movement occurs when the moon is directly overhead (moon transit) and when it is "directly underfoot" on the other side of the earth, approx 12 hours later. During a full moon that generally occurs in the 11:00 to 2:00 pm timeframe

my plan is to just go ahead and shoot one before 730am so I don't have to worry about sticking it our all day...

Solunar tables indicate peak game activity on Saturday will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 11:25 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. (minor - major is during the night) on Sunday.
