As long as there's not long heavy downpours I think it won't hurt us too much. I'm glad I decided to hunt out of a pop-up this year. At least I will be dry. Makes sitting in the rain much easier when your'e not soaked to the bone.

Yep, just got my rain gear out to wash and add to the rest of the stuff. I would like to think that thick overcast will keep the deer from moving in the dark as much with the impending full moon but I understand its more than just them being able to see at night, its more physiological than that. Oh well, I will be watching the trees ever second either way,rain or shine!!!

Where I am hunting the forecast went from 50% chance of rain all weekend to 40% Thursday and Friday and no chance Sat/Sun

I am hoping not. It can rain all it wants after we leave but I hate tracking in mud to the blinds and cabins ...and it'll ruin the big dinner and evening by the campfire we plan for Sat night opener.

I agree also if you shoot a deer and then the rain comes there goes all your blood for tracking sure hope it holds off until Sunday
