Just tryin to get a little advice from those more experienced than myself here.. I've always just hunted 20-30 yards from the feeder, but I'm trying to play around with different stuff. I was wondering how effective grunt and estrus calls are pre-rut, mainly opening weekend. I'm hunting south tx in mountain home by Kerrville. Never really messed with calls before, but kinda want to experiment a little this year. Is it worth using calls and rattling or wait until the rut?
