How do you adjust back wheels on John Deere Model 70 tractor

First off I want to give a big thanks to Dstephens for coming out to help me yesterday. What a great guy!!!! Was nice to meet you. Wish the weather was cooler.

I didn't purchase any manuals for this tractor yet and am totally unfamiliar on how to adjust the rear wheel spacing.
Attached are pics of what the rear wheels look like as well as the axle ends. There are bolts on the inside and outside of the hub area. One bolt on the outside runs perpendicular to the axle at 90 degrees and appears to be what locks into the cross grooves on the axle. It moves up and down a bit, but won't come completely out of the hole.

Question, do I have to remove every single bolt on both sides of the wheel to make it slide left or right on the axle? I did apply Kroil penetrating oil to all the bolts and axles. Also, does anyone know if you can narrow the outside back wheel width down to less than 80 inches?
Right now, the wheels are set about 90 inches when measuring to the outsides of the sidewalls on both rear wheels.

Gotta figure out how to get the wheel width narrowed down so the tractor will fit on the trailer.

    Thanks in advance.

I would say YES or at least very loose - your axle is groved or keyed and my guess the bolts on the inside part hold the pieces that are keyed to the axle. Block axle, jack up and take all loose, you have axle in correct position and should slide. Surprised you got all bolts to bust loose

Thanks. Yip, they were not easy to get loose. Brought along some Kroil to assist in breaking the rust bond. I still haven't figured out how the hex head bolt like part is supposed to function that is perpinducular to the axle. It'll move up and down a bit, but that's it. It's gotta be what locks in the axle cross grooves. Not sure how many grooves or notches there are total.
