Just got a pic of this buck. Never seen one on this place like this before. Any chance this is a mesquite thorn infection? What do the experts on the GS say?

Could be anything, it's abscessed, maybe a snakebite or thorn?

It don't look like an abscess from a thorn or anything. Definitely not a snake bite. Looks more like a tumor to me

Have seen some with tumurs and they have always been dark colored (almost black).
