You need to get the manager and make them put stick on weights on the backside. Geeez

Yeah, they should not leave any marks. Next time also get the "hidden" wieghts, they look cleaner.

normal for a greenhorn that probably used the wrong weight type. But if that's not professionally done paint job for wheels then it will happen.

This. Plus I heard that BFGs are notorious for throwing the weights when put on like that.

They told my daughter this. She took my truck in for balance/rotation.She was watching the technician do the work and called the front guy over .He said it was normal and that it should have the tape weights on it.She told him"You mounted and balanced these tires a couple months ago."Then they hammered on the incorrect weights again. So the next time it'll happen again.I'll be paying them a visit tomorrow.I've never had a bad thing to say about them before but this is really jacked up.

These are professionally painted wheels and have had a couple sets of tires on them.

Only mention because I used to have guys chew me out because their $4 spray can special paint job started flaking after tire work. Being a professional coat job makes all the difference.

Everytime you go in you'll have to specifically tell them stick on weights. And like mentioned, BFG's will throw the weights and can be real hard to install because of the lip guard bead on them. If they don't pay to have them refinished, I'd be real mad, I always paid up when my shop scratched them!

They did mine the same on my stock wheels with a few deeper gouges and I took them back and showed the manager and ended up getting two aftermarket wheels free and I bought the other two! I was very surprised!

The thing that really chaps my hide is the guy said they were the wrong weights and then they put them right back on.

Man I'd be whoopin someone over that. I paid too much in my wheels. I always get the stick on ones

You'd expect more brains from someone who controls whether or not the wheels stays on the car while driving down the road at 70 mph

Discount use to be pretty darn good, but lately its riding the same coaster downhill as alot of businesses these days.

Call the 1-800- number on your receipt. Be specific with store number and names. Ask that this problem be forwarded to the district manager and request that he/she call you immediately to have the situation corrected (rims refinished). Do not let up. If the district manager does not handle the problem then ask for the problem to be forwarded to regional/zone manager and require a phone call from that person.
