    Arrow rest question

I have been using a trapdoor dropaway rest and have never had a problem with it. I just got a new bow and it came with a whisker biscuit. Should I change over to my old rest or shoot the whisker bicuit. I know its all preference, but I just wanted to hear from the green screen on yalls thoughts. I have shot it a few times and it seems to shoot good with the setup it has, but just cant decide if i would want to use a whisker biscuit!

    what say ye???

    Thanks...

No point in fixing something that isn't broken!

whisker biscuits are great rests, and they won't fail ya. the only downside in comparison to the drop away style is you get a lot more friction on your arrow with the whisker biscuit which may slow your arrow down a bit, but not enough to honestly be concerned.

One of my bows is set up with a whisper biscuit. Never failed me. Its killed a few elk so aint that whats important? It works. I have a fancy smancy drop rest on my Mathews Z-7. It works too but is it better...pretty much a wash. I dont shoot long distances so whisker biscuits has a good track record...no pun intended....I would leave it be.

I think a WB is a great trot line sinker. But thats me. They do work. Its beyond me how but they do. I'll hunt the slow mo vid right quick n post it.

To dang much contact for this fella! Watch the fletchings.

I had a whisker biscuit for a while while I was waiting for the funds to show up in my acct to buy a better rest. I shoot the QAD HDX fall away. There is so much contact with the fletchings on a biscuit. You can shoot thru it, but with a fall away your accuracy goes up astronomically with the 1st arrow.

this has always been my thoughts, but had never used one and wanted to hear from people who have. I have them on both of my sons bows for safty reasons and had thought about my bowfishing setup, but im just not sure on my hunting bow!

                Thanks...
