    iPhone App Developers

    I had an idea for an iphone app a while back and I'm surprised no one has done it yet. I think it is a really good idea. It solves a MAJOR problem and I could really see taking off. However, I don't have any experience with this and I'm not even sure if my idea is feasible.

    I'm looking for someone that I could discuss this idea with to determine:
    1. If it's feasible/possible
    2. If it's as unique as I believe it is
    3. What it would take to bring it to market


    Ideally, I'm looking to find someone who is experienced in this space that can take this and run with it. I'm not looking to hire someone to bring it to market. I just want to find someone that is interested in developing a partnership. We can discuss the details via PM or phone. I will require a NDA be signed prior to any substantive dialog.

    This may not be the best forum to find a app developer, but I thought I'd start here and hope to get lucky

    I'm doing the same thing now and apple is getting involved. If all goes well things will be sweet. Good luck it's a long process. Our app was going to cost $12,000 to make and we created the code, but if all goes well we are going to work with the apple development team.

      Interesting, didn't know you could do that. At what stage can you start speaking directly with the apple development team?

        The web developer sent the code to apple for pre approval so we would not waste $12,000. After a few days we got another e-mail from apple saying our app was flagged and we needed to fill out a get to know developer form. After another week we got another e-mail explaining how unique our app was and that they are going over it with their lawyers to check on liability and if we would be interested in working with apple development team directly. They wanted our lawyers contact info and they would be calling us to set up a conference call to discuss the future of our app. It is a crazy ride and we are waiting on them. I have a good NDA letter if you need one.
