I stop by the one in Conroe occasionally to see what they have, got a good deal on a new shop vac and a few kid books last year.

Goodwill is a retail store that gets their inventory for free(donations). No different than shopping at "vintage clothing" store except the goods were donated and not sold to them. Shopping there or donating goods helps people. Unless that is a floor employee's car there is really nothing odd about it.
