Bad connection on Primos Truthcam 46

I bought a Truthcam 46 at Academy a couple months ago and was able to set it up at my new lease. I set it up with the usual "D" batteries just to see quality of pics and how long they would last. Batteries only lasted a week so I decided to buy the 6V steroid game camera battery pack. I went to lease to install battery pack and connected it to camera; the camera would not turn on; the battery was charged (charged it with adapter that came in pack). When I wiggled the connection, camera turned on. I decided not to leave camera and battery pack at lease to see if I could trouble shoot. Have any of you had trouble with the connection from battery to camera? Here at home I noticed the same thing, I connect the cable to camera and only when I wiggle or move it a certain way the camera turns on. Any help would be appreciated.

Good ol D batteries have worked great in mine the past few years

I would return camera I have 3 of them and batteries last for months

I notice on my Promos & battery pack. The plug is really right in the outlet and not allowing a good connection. But you should get more than a week from the D batteries

My plug does go in snug but again does not turn it on. If I turn the plug it turns on. As far as the D batteries I guess it didn't help that I left some of the brush I cut near the cameras field of view.

I've had 2 truthcam 46s out for a while now. They both have over 15,000 pics on the first set of "d" batteries and still show 50% life. I would take that one back and exchange it.

If you are only getting a week from the batteries you have another issue.

Wondering if I set it too close to feeder/brush. Did notice there was several windy days; camera took a picture pretty much every minute.

I've looked for receipt but I cant find it!!!

you have bigger problems than just a connection issue if your only getting a week out of batteries.

I lost receipt too sent it back to Primos they sent me new one

If you bought it from academy just take it back without the receipt .....they will exchange it for you.
