Another Droid update?

Do any of y'all know about the Droid update? My phone keeps telling me I need to do another update and I really don't want to, not after the last one wiped out my phone. Does this update fix all the stuff the last update screwed up? Is there a way to not do it and get rid of the notification that keeps popping up?

I agree. I liked my phone just fine until the ICS update. Most of what changed, I hate. If there really is another update I would almost take it.

I don't think anyone liked the last one. I'm scared that this one will be worse, if it is I'm switching to an iPhone. kidding, I like using Swype too much.

what is swype?

Instead of touching every letter when you enter text, you touch the first letter then drag your finger across all the other letters. Its much faster than having to tap every letter.

I just checked mine for software update and it said it was up to date.... Wonder if my SGSII is set to auto update?

I don't think JB is out yet . I'm running it but I'm rooted. Google now is great . ICS I didn't run for more than a week or so . Don't know about cleaning the notifications.

How do you do a screen shot? I have a galaxy epic s 2 something or other.

On mine I can hold the power button and the volume up button at the same time or I can hold the power button for a sec or two and a reboot menu pops up with diff options and screen shots is one of them .


But I'm running a custom ROM with a lot more settings and options . Best bet is to look IP screen shots for your phone . YouTube has a lot of use full videos.
