    Will deer eat Tallow berries?

There are some deer eating along the pipeline easement by my plant eating from tree limbs. I know there are a lot of Tallow trees and some others mixed in that I can't place. Just curious if they will eat the Tallow berries?

No! But robins will and they spread them everywhere.

Especially along a fence lines or utility lines.

              Probably eating the tender leaves.

Yes, they will tear them up, if there's nothing much else to browse on. I have a feeder under a tallow in my back yard and see them eating the leaves and the berries all the time.

Whitewings and Collared doves eat em. Good question about deer. I don' t think a tallow seed stays on the ground long enough before it germinates. Things grow like .....................weeds.

Tallows are a top invasive species in Texas, and need to be cut down and burned. They will take over and spread like crazy (due to birds as stated above). Totally worthless tree.

Not sure but pea gravel on the other hand, that's a whole different story!
