A couple of weeks ago, I got a side view on tc of what I think was this buck. The pic wasn't good at all. Well, tonight I retrieved a much better shot of him. He's a dandy.

So, how old and how wide do y'all think?

Not sure on the age Jeff but obviously mature. I'm thinking 19 inches wide or so? All I know is I'd give my left one if a buck like that showed up on my trail cam!!

5-7 yr. old hard to tell at that angle.

That ole boy will crawl in a hole the end of September if he grew up in the Trinity river bottom. You MIGHT catch him opening weekend if the does are in heat, the weather is 50 degrees, you're sitting over the only white oak tree in that area and you get on stand at midnight. Not to be the bearer of bad news but those older east Texas bucks are another critter. 'course you already knew that..
