IMO, do yourself a favor and invest in a good holster for your sweetness. You already spend $800 + on a great 1911. I wouldnt put it in a $15 holster.
Go with a Crossbreed holster (most comfortable/most concealable holster ive ever worn)
Whitehat holsters (same concept as crossbreed)

Galco holsters I'm looking at range from $80-$120. Leather.
I'll have to check out Whitehat.

I use a DM Bullard Dual Carry for my Kimber Ultra Carry II with CT Lazergrips. Very comfortable and made in TX.

SOB is never very concealable, especially that kind of gun. If you bend over, your made.

Do you have a good gun belt? It's probably more important than the holster.
