This doe took a crimson talon. Notice the still intact head in my quiver. It was a blood bath for 30 yards

The tip actually broke off and shredded the threads on the doe which in turn let all of the blades fell out. the blades do an excellent job if they do not hit bone but they are just to flexible and will actually bend if they hit something hard. the doe dropped to her knees and the broadhead and arrow fell out. She lived for a week after that before i put her down. The hog. who knows what he did with it he probably ripped it out of his leg and ate it while he looked at me and pounded his chest. This would definately not be my first pick if you want something reliable time after time. There are much better broadheads & mechanicals out there. Excellent blood terrible reliability and bone crushing power.

I am betting that it took you hours to find that deer. It sucks when they do not bleed, good thing there wasn't any snow, I am betting that would of made it even more difficult. I hope you can see I am being somewhat of a smart!@@. Next time leave the gernades at home.

As far as it not working on "animals with bones". I shot a nice buck last year & went right through the left shoulder. That deer took less then 20 steps before piling up.

I have ggod luck with them. Now Muzzy's on the other hand, they hold together real well. Because they never hit what I'm aiming at. I wish I could get them to fly, if for no other reason then the price.

But once again, 20 shooters 20 different anwsers.
Here are some that have done well for me:
          Montecs G-5
          Crimson Talons
          Rages
          Razorcaps
          Phatoms

I love em, and bought six packs this year when Academy was selling them for $16.95. Here are some pics of the performance on the buck in the avitar. It went thru a rib on impact, and exited the shoulder (just clipping the shoulder blade). The same arrow, and bh (different blades each time) have killed 4 animals this year. I did rinse the deer for the photo. There was blood everywhere.
