    Remove the attraction for the food source (mice) and you will solve the snake problem.

    Or get a few cats.
    They won't really 'exhaust' the food supply, since wild rattlesnakes only eat a few times each year. They will, however, not be attracted to the place if something else can rid the place of rodents.
