Wednesday's "Hunt The Good Stuff" thread.

The Army has implemented a new "Real Time Resilience" training to assist service members with their day to day grind and to reinforce a positive work environment. It also is meant to help combat the rising rate of suicide. One part of the required training is called "Hunt The Good Stuff". What this is, is a way to train yourself to see the good in every situation and to assist you with maintaining your composure by reinforcing positive thinking.

It can help family and friends. We all need it. So, what I propose is that this thread be used to point out only the positives out of your day. This is a feel good thread and should flow with positive vibes.

With that said, what have you gotten out of today that was "GOOD" so far?

Ok--sounds like a good mental exercise....so I tried that this morning with Obama and where he is leading this country and it just didn't work? I must need to focus more?

The anti-biotics that my old basset hound have been taking for a tooth abcess worked. Woke up, swelling is down and he's wagging his tail again! Life is good!

Coffee was made when I woke up.

This thread kind of reminds me of the "Eternal Flame" thread.

Thank God for letting me get out of bed. Thankful for wife, kids & good health. Daily Bible reading helps to get my heart and my mind ready for the day ahead.

My son was silently sleeping away next to me this morning when I got up to get ready for work. He is my little miracle and one that I will forever be thankful for.
