How to block a number

Is there an app or some way on an iphone to block calls and txts from a number?

It's in the apps part of the phone. just select the number and hit block. I have 3-4 blocked

sticbow is right, you can block in from the apps tab in your phone.

If it is actually in apps then which app did you download. If you mean it is in the utilities / settings then please explain because I can't find that option.

Sounds like they're talking about blocking on a android not an iPhone. I'll play with mine and see what it does

On AT&T iPhone you'll need to log in to your acct and access your service plan. Then you need to add SMARTLIMITS to your plan for $5 a month. SMARTLIMITS will allow you to select which numbers you want blocked.

I have an android phone and to block a number, get to your "call history" then press and hold on the number to block, then there should be an option to "block number". Hope this helps.
