    E. Tx. Food Plots?

What have you guys had success with in the past. We have a small lease and it's super thick, but we have a couple spots for plots. We've had luck growing oats but want something different. Really jealous watching these guys on tv with their huge tractors, biologic fields, and mossy oak fertilizer. They spend more money on seed and fertilizer than I do for my whole lease. Well anyways, what do you guys have for me in the lines of seeds that will grow with only the water mother nature gives

Krolls favorite plots in east TX consist of oats, clover, and chicory.
