    Late setting up this year?

Anybody else late setting up for the upcoming season? What a procrastinator I am.

Just set up my ground blind yesterday and set up the trail camera. I've got a great area and hopefully get some good pics next week. I'll post them on when I get to it.

I'm a little behind myself. We have cameras out and feeders throwing but none of my blinds are ready yet. I'm usually not that mad at them on opening weekend anyway.

Guilty, still haven't been able to get there. I've got two new hang on stands to hang, feeders to fill and a lot of general setting up to do still, haven't been there since may!

Hung all the stands last weekend and finished up seeding the plots this morning. Praying the hogs don't get to em before we get to reap the benefits

Feeders and cameras are running. I moved one feeder about 50 yards this year, but never moved the tripod over to it because I was going to put a pop up there. Same with another feeder. Its been in the same spot for 3 years, but this year the durn tree my ladder stand was in got blown over and it broke about 8 feet up from the ground, and the durn ladder stand (homemade) is almost impossible to get off the trunk unless I take a chainsaw to the tree. I was thinking of putting a pop up there as well, but alas, I've yet to find a pop up that I like that does not cost $300-$400 dollars.

                I guess I'm ready..

Have all the spots set for pop up's just don't have em out.

I usually don't leave em out and that helps em last.

Feeders have been on a short spin since middle of last month.
And the pig pipes are set.
Dropping a little corn by hand at the ladder stand each time I go out.

It helps that my spot is 3 miles from the house.

With all the work weekend and being the only guy bow hunting my place I have yet to get anything done for my self as far as my bow set ups. Just finished another work trip this weekend and still nothing done. Beginning to wonder if I'll ever get it done.

We waited and now I'm stuck working in Alaska, truck is in the shop.....blah, blah, blah.

It was too hot earlier, had other stuff on our plate.....

                    So no, we aren't ready.

Some of my greatest season have started that way. Late is a relative term.

Got done with everything in one trip with 3 guys. Put out 3000#'s of corn, set 3 stands and hung 2 feeders. They never thought it could be done in time to hunt. We got 2 hunts in and the work done. Having guys with some muscle and some hussle is nice! Going back opening morning, will pull cams and will post pics then.

I killed the biggest buck to date last season and I set the blind and feeder up 1 week before the season opener
