    Came off roost late and not near the numbers as yesterday....but i was on the X today and shot 100% better than yesterday

      Nice! We did ok. The wind definitely affected them. I ended up with 10. Three others got 15, 9 and 5

          Got 10 this morning in hour and half, and then had to go. Could have shot a limit if I had the time. Probably going back in the morning. You just never know, but if you get your timing right, cold fronts usually bring more more birds down. Sometime when it's blow'n in, sometimes right before it, and sometime 24-48 hours after it. Rain in never good though. Rain with a cold front usually means I'm done dove hunt'n for the season, and start thinking about deer hunting. This has just been my experience.

            South Zone Dove

            Went to the ranch to do some work with hubby and son. We didn't see any dove all day. We are located south of Somerset/south zone. Anyone in the same location see any dove flying. Our season starts Sept 21.
