I got the call last night from the land owner saying I have to move my set up. We hunt on 4000 acres in Cuero and we hunt the back 2200 of the property while the land owners hunt the front 1800.
Owner says they are taking 200(+-) acres right where my set up is. I'm more than 99.9% sure it's because I’ve taken the biggest buck in my area the past 4 years and the owner's son has been out there to see it the past two years. Sucks as I've had my set up going for 10 years there with a lot of hard work put in over the years, and I can guarantee they're going to set right where I had mine.
On the bright side I get to go out to the lease this weekend , and I’m still able to hunt this season
. I have a few areas in mind for my new set up and also have another blind out there set up that my dad uses so all and all it's not too bad. Plus I kind of like the idea of hunting a new area this season
