Another Camera ?

The wife and I want to pick up a new camcorder. She and I both want to capture vacation, sports events, and holiday footage. I would also like capture hunting footage. Any body using this Camera? If so wadda you think good and bad.

Any other camera recommendations before we drop the coin would be appreciated.
We have set our budget to $1500.00 for a camera.

I paid about $850 for the new Sony HS Mini Cam and the pix ona 56 inch HD Screen are as good as they broadast
