    B/CS Christian Bowhunter Volunteers Needed

My Dad is a deacon at Central Baptist Church in the Bryan/College Station area. Each year they have an outdoor expo. They are wanting to do an archery exhibition.

If you're a Christian hunter and shoot a bow pretty well, and can or will be in B/CS on March 29th, please respond to this thread. This is a chance to get some young people into the sport who otherwise may never be exposed.

Details are sketchy at present, but I will add updates as they become available. As I understand it you'd have to bring all your stuff including your targets. For kids, the 3D targets seem to get their attention the most.

Kevin, that is my old church! Chris Osborn still the pastor? He is a great guy. His cell message use to say, I am either preaching, golfing or hunting, leave a message.

Yes, as I understand. I am down in Richmond, so I don't go to church there, but both of my parents do.

I miss Central Baptist and Chris. The new church location is great.

I would like to but not as good as I think I am. Keep posting and I will see what I can do.

                Possibly...

My in-laws live over there..... maybe this would be a good excuse to go visit.
..... Are you needing a full scale speaking engagement or just someone to shoot a few arrows?

More than likely it will just be a few guys flinging arrows and explaining how and why it's done. They have a lot of different activities including fishing for the kids.

Never mind. Dad said they just hired a new children's minister and another prominent member of the church is going to take care of the archery thing.
