I believe that is a "bung" wrench, used for taking the plugs and recessed caps from drums. The square middle part is used to remove the square headed plugs and the "ears" are used to remove the recessed caps.

See if you can find a stamp on it. I've seen those old tractor wrenches/implement wrenches made by IH, Alis-Chalmers, JD, and several old plow makers.

I used to have a bunch of them. We always found them at estate sales in and around central Texas. If there was an old barn on the property there would be 3 or 4 of those laying around.

Thanks everyone. My sister actually ended up with the wrench and she lives in Cypress. I've looked at some Bung wrenches and Implement wrenches and it could go either way. I haven't found this exact one but some that were pretty close.

Mom passed away back in July and we were cleaning out her house Saturday and Sunday when we came across a box of tools that I'm pretty sure came from my Granddads farm. This wrench and a few others were in there that are pretty interesting. I have a couple of wrenches out of that box that I'm not sure what they are but they are boxed up in my garage until I can find a place for them. I'll have to post some pics of them on another day and get some more expert answers.

                      Thanks again for help.
