while mowing the grass. One of our dogs was bit by a small rattlesnake such as this when we first moved into the house. I had to take him to the vet when his face got really swollen, luckily he survived. I'm thinking this is one of the things my dogs have been barking at all week long, along with a baby turtle we found back there. Wife hates these things and was not very happy when I showed her the pictures. Pretty little thing, but had to get rid of it.
