XBox...Play Station.... Which one to get?

Looking to get one for my 6 yo son for his birthday. I have never used either one of them, so tell me which one you recommend?

I have both and enjoy both but think there is more "kid friendly" games on the Xbox

I'd say xbox too. I have both as well. My younger brother and his friends enjoy playing xbox more then playstation. Espeically if you get the Kinect option for xbox so they can play games without controllers.

Xbox with kinnect gets my vote. PS3 is blue ray if that is your thing.

I have had both and I like the PS3 better. No charge for online gaming, it has the motion games also, which we have and then there is the Blu Ray.

The wife loves the kinect... Especially after a couple glasses of wine. Haha!

Had both, go with PS, free gaming, hard to beat that.

XBL, you have to pay to play.

Xbox for sure. 60$ for a year of xbox live is worth it especially since the online lags a lot less, I've had a lot of friends who've said that. Both have really good games, and both have there own perks. But if your looking for more of an online system get the xbox
