Boss lady trying to force a trip end of Oct....


Alright fellas, I'm currently in Afcrapistan and getting home October 13th and will be home until a couple of days after Thanksgiving... So home for a month and 1/2.

The wife is wanting me to go to Key Largo with her for 4 days from October 25th and coming back the 28th. Growing up she worked at a resort there and they're having a reunion thing. I said she can go and I'll stay and get my hunting on.

When I'm home I try to only hunt when she has her shift (nurse) and that is only 2 or 3 days hunting at a time.

Just trying to see what the green screen says....

Should I go on the 4 day trip and then I'll have leverage for a 4/5 day straight hunt and a fewer small hunts? Or should I stay home and be greedy and hunt the 4 days she's gone and a few smaller hunts too?

I've gone on hunts where she is PO'd and just took the red arse she gave, but just wondering what y'all think.

Also, I've dropped big money on renovating the inside of our new house and gave her a brand spanking new kitchen and hardwood floors throughout!

Book you a fishing trip while you are in Key Largo. But family should always come first. Plenty of time to hunt while you are home and when you get back to the states for good.

I'm just going to see her with her friends that she hasn't seen in probably 10+ years. I'm not sure if the others are bringing their sig. others...

I'd much rather be up in a tree bow hunting then watching people I don't know getting drunk and just a bunch of Yankee's that I'll have nothing in common with. Most of them probably have never held a rifle or hunted and think everyone from Texas wears cowboy hats and boots....

If you have been on deployment you should spend your time with her. You'll have longer kitchen pass when you get back and since you spent quality time with her you won't get the red A and you'll enjoy the hunt better.

Man I hate to say this but it's not about her friends or even you, it's about her.
It's only 4 days, and it will be 4 days she will really thank you for, in prob more ways than one!
