Ours won't leave until the rain begins to fall tomorrow.

Well now you know where they went.

Normally ours move with the first hint of fall in Sept.

Went and checked my field today after a heavy thunderstorm and I was pleasantly surprised to see them very thick at 6pm still in the field.

I have a flock of 40 to 50 white wings that spend all summer in my front field. I can watch them fly every time i go down the driveway. BUT, they disappear every year one or two days before the season opens.......

Bird numbers increasing daily. I was through Hondo a few times in the last week and the birds east of town were ABSOLUTELY UNREAL! Wish more of them would push 20 miles further west! LOL!

I think they read the hunting reports and go where no one hunts.

The birds are like deer- they know when the season starts.
