I was wondering if anyone else on here does annual contracts for protein through feed companies. In years past, we would usually put a certain amount of protein with a locked in price on contract with an agreement that it would all be picked up by the end of September. We usually just pay as we pick it up. The reason I am asking is with the price of all grain and indredients to make pellets going up along with fuel, we are having trouble finding anyone to lock in a price.
