During this weekend, can I carry my handgun on my side without a CHL? I understand that at this point its not "concealed", but just wanting to make sure I was in the clear. Also, I have only had a handgun for a couple months, so some stuff is still new to me. Just don't want to make a warden mad if I happen to meet one in the field.

YOu can wear it as a hat if you want to.

If you are on property under your control i.e. Lease, your property, yard, etc.. Can't take it to Wal-mart or anything like that.Comment

Yep, must be concealed during bow only season... However, our wardens have told us whether we have CHL or not where we hunt (along the US/Mexico border) we'd be crazy not to pack some heat and not concealed is ok by them, but again, that's just the guys who are responsible for our area, not statewide...Originally posted by SB09 View PostComment
