I graduated from SFA in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, and worked Law Enforcement for a few years in California. My wife and I just recently moved back to the Houston area, and after a whole lot of thought and disappointment, I decided I was done with Law Enforcement. Problem is...I don't know anything else...at all.
I have a lot of hobbies (like all of us here), but I've never been really good at anything that I can make a living off of. So after talking to one of my friends and a fellow TBH member, I decided to randomly choose Construction Science/Management...and here I am.
I decided to go back and get another Bachelor's and completely start over...a whole new field and a whole new degree. I got accepted into the Construction Management college at the University of Houston, and today is my first day.
It feels really weird going back, especially since I thought I was done with school forever, but God has other plans for me.
And with that, I ask for TBH's prayers. It's going to be a long road, and I'm actually pretty nervous as to what the future brings, but I hope it all turns out well.
I've never built anything in my life, and I don't know the first thing about construction...but it seems interesting and I think I'll like it.
If any of you guys are students at UH, please come by the library on the 2nd floor and say hello...as I don't know a soul on this campus
