    Decisions decisions

I want use one of my old rifles to shoot a pig this September after dove hunting. Let me know what you think and I'll post pictures if successful.

My normal choice is my AR 15 in 6.8 SPC or my 7mm Remington Magnum during deer season. I have shot so many over them last 3 years, I want to mix it up a little with one of the rifles collecting dust in the back of the safe.

    Option #1
savage model 99 in 250 savage (250/3000). My moms deer rifle growing up in Carrizo Springs in the early 50s

    Option #2
My grandfathers Remington model 722 in .222 Remington. (had to camo after repairing the stock). Little underpowered but should work like a champ if I put one behind the ear.

Option 1....great caliber,My first Hi Powered rifle was a Savage 99 feafterweight take down in this caliber...wish I still had it...killed a lot of South Texas bucks and javelinas with it..
Option 2....don't sell the 222 or the model 722 short.... with the proper bullets this is a super killer,,,super accurate have yet to see a hoh that was ear hole shot or a deer that was high neck shot ,take more than 1 step after being shot...

        Shoot them both,,,,
