    Feeder Lights

How many use them? Do they spook the deer, or do you use them mostly for hog hunting?

    #2
I have seven Red feeder lights setup and saw all the same deer and a few new ones at the feeder after I set it up. I only use them for hogs and coons but wouldn't be against shooting exotics but don't have any on the places I hunt. The further away from the feeder the feeder light is the less time it will take for the animals to get used to it. The feeder lights that have to be right next to the feeder or mounted right under it will take the animals longer to get used to it and I've had Green Kill light that mounts right under the feeder that the deer and pigs would not come under.

I have the HCR feeder light and it does not seem to bother the deer at all.

Here is a picture of the output of one of mine. I don't believe in going half a.. with a feeder light.

Dang man. Looks like you hired a UFO to hover over your feeder. I'll bet nothing escapes your field of view though.

I have had the Moonlight units on our protein feeders for over a year maybe longer and they didnt like them early on but they are no longer concerned with them now. Adding 3 more units this weekend

I have one of the larger HCR's that stays on from dusk to down 24/7. All of the animals are used to it.
