      Kap

Update - Fantasy draft was done by 4 so I ran out to the killing fields. Got in the new north side tripod about 4:45. Got really hot so I went under the tree next to the stand. Got back in the tripod about 7:30. Get a text message from ESPN that my Cowboys have scored a TD and the score is 17-3. Checking this out and I hear something. Look up, 15 pigs under the feeder. Don't know where they came from. Put phone in pocket, pull arrow out of quiver, knock arrow, draw on 75 pound smoker, Big Nasty steps into the middle of the pile and all pigs scramble. Move pin to Big Nasty, quartering away, let her fly over the back of smoker pig to hit Big Nasty in double lung area. Pigs scatter and I see Big Nasty running with a CX Piledriver Hunter stuck all the way through him and buried in the far shoulder. Wait 25 minutes. Heard a yelp but no crash. Searched till it got dark. Going back in the morning with a dog and will hopefully be posting a LDP with Big Nasty!!

Sunday morning update - Took my beagle out at 6am to see if we could find big nasty. Busted six or eight deer on the way in. Searched the whole property plus most of two neighboring properties. Lots of fresh tracks and beds and wallows. No blood. No arrow. All I can figure is I hit high and missed vitals. I saw the arrow stuck in him. Very disappointed right now.

                  Search and Destroy

Sunday Afternoon Update -Gonna resume the search after it cools off. Watching for BZZards. Pigs were wet and muddy when they came in last night. Checked all known water and mud holes. All were DRIED UP. The only one left that we know has water is a mile away on neighbor's property. Will check that tonight. No blood trail to speak of. Must have hit high. Been hunting this pig hard for a month, finally get a shot and now I am just sick!! I want them cutters.
